The Reverend Father Francis Henry Autendyke serves as President and Chaplain of the Victoria Street Chaplaincy Society in Victoria, British Columbia. Through the Society, Father Francis leads a ministry of presence among the unhoused and those affected by substance use, offering street outreach, holistic services, and trauma informed care to some of Victoria’s most vulnerable neighbors. Programs such as Nourish a Neighbour, Warmth for All, and Pathways to Stability reflect his conviction that every person deserves to be met with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Father Francis brings decades of lived experience, humility, and unwavering kindness to his priestly ministry. His approach is rooted in inclusive spirituality and a deep respect for people of every background, making his work a living expression of the Gospel call to serve the least among us.
In October 2026, Father Francis was received into the Apostolic Catholic Church in America in provisional status. He serves in the Diocese of the Great Commission under the pastoral direction of Bishop David.
