Fr. Michael “Mike” Parks is Archdeacon and a Priest in the Eastern Diocese within the Apostolic Catholic Church in America. In his role as Archdeacon, he assists Bishop Ryan Cox in the work of the diocese by serving at liturgies, accompanying the Bishop on parish visitations, and helping to foster unity while ensuring the richness of the Church’s traditions are carried forward wherever they serve.
He also serves as Pastor of Saint Luke’s Independent Catholic Church where he leads the community in worship, pastoral care, and outreach. With more than ten years of ministry experience and over twenty years working in healthcare, Fr. Mike has devoted his life to caring for others through both spiritual guidance and compassionate patient care.
For Fr. Mike, faith is not confined to the walls of the church but is lived out daily in compassion, advocacy, and service to those who are too often forgotten or underserved. Whether at the altar, at the bedside, or in the community, he strives to embody Christ’s example of love, humility, and mercy. His priesthood is grounded in the conviction that the Church must be a home for all people, a place of welcome where no one is turned away. With every conversation, every act of service, and every prayer, Fr. Mike seeks to reflect God’s unconditional love and make sure those on the margins know they are seen and valued.
